Could last year's graduating class from AUT's fashion school be the most successful yet? Sherie Muys won the 2006 Deutz Fashion Ambassador, has since launched her own label and been featured in Australian Harpers Bazaar. Jaeha Alex Kim has launched his own label, Jaeha, which is stocked at Australian boutique Blondies. Camille Howie won the ID Dunedin Emerging Designer Award in March, and has the firm backing of designer Beth Ellery. And now three more graduates are making their way into the industry with the launch of their new label and store in Auckland's Beresford Square.

Sarah An, Julia Exton and Katherina Walton, who showed in the Rookie show at Fashion Week last year, have teamed up to create Quadfolium. The young label aims to create garments with an 'androgynous sex appeal and underground aesthetic'. The trio are also opening a flagship store near Auckland’s K Road. It's a minimalist space which will stock up-and-coming labels like jewellery brand Alex and Chloe and Sherie Muys' sherieyvonne range, alongside their own. The store opens on Wednesday June 20.
